GER: Karin Resetarits (* 15. Dezember 1961 in Wien als Karin Müller) ist eine österreichische Journalistin und Politikerin (LIF).
Ausbildung und Beruf Karin Resetarits besuchte von 1968 bis 1972 die Volksschule der Schulschwestern in der Friesgasse in Wien und wechselte danach an das dortige Gymnasium der Schulschwestern. Resetarits besuchte von 1978 bis 1979 die Senior Highschool in Huntington (New York) und schloss 1980 ihre Ausbildung mit der Matura an der AHS der Schulschwestern ab. Zwischen 1980 und 2003 arbeitete Resetarits als Redakteurin beim ORF und moderierte die Sendungen Ohne Maulkorb, Zeit im Bild und Treffpunkt Kultur. Von 2003 bis 2004 war sie Moderatorin bei KroneHit-Radio, zudem arbeitete sie ab 1980 als selbständige Moderatorin, Journalistin und Autorin. 2004 eröffnete sie einen Gastronomiebetrieb und ist Gesellschafterin der Marx Restauration GmbH.
Politik Bei der Europawahl 2004 zog sie an zweiter Stelle auf der Liste Martin in das EU-Parlament ein. Am 8. Avez-vous voté pour ou contre Karin Resetarits ? Early and personal life Karin Resetarits was born in Vienna. Journalistic career She started her journalistic career at the National Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) as editor in the culture department, and became host of the news show Zeit im Bild and the culture show Treffpunkt Kultur. From 2003 to 2004 she worked as host of a daily radio talk show for the private Austrian radio station Krone Hitradio. Her 2002 book entitled Ja, ich koche gerne! (Yes, I like to cook!) contains a number of recipes, but with 20 short stories about her life and family turns out to be a rather autobiographical work.
