Brinda writes to DCGI on Indore clinical trials
Brinda Karat, former MP and Polit Bureau member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has asked the Centre to take action against the doctors allegedly involved in the clinical trials on patients in Indore without following the proper guidelines. Highly critical of Members of Parliament deciding their own remuneration, CPI-M leader Brinda Karat today said the salary hike bill was 'scandalous'. "At no other place in the country, you have beneficiaries deciding on the increase of their own salary," Karat said on the sidelines of a conference here.
